Someone once told me that they love crafting in so Someone once told me that they love crafting in solitude, if that was you, keep scrolling. This weekend we got to do something we almost neve This weekend we got to do something we almost never get to do... just be together. A handful of our Craftcation staff escaped for a weekend of swimming, crafting, good food, and hanging out—without running around making everything happen for everyone else. These humans work tirelessly for our community. They’re solving problems before anyone knows they exist, making attendees feel welcome, carrying the spirit of Craftcation, and pouring so much of themselves into creating an experience that feels seamless and joyful. Getting to spend a weekend taking care of them was pretty special. One of my favorite parts was how quickly everyone slipped right back into it. We hadn’t all been together since Craftcation, but within minutes it felt like no time had passed. Huge thanks to @craftamoto for creating and supplying incredible craft projects all weekend, @mabs5151 for being our kitchen mama, @leannicorn for making this retreat happen, and everyone who came and made the weekend what it was. @janetmcgraw @laurendurrdesign @vanishingartscollective @jssl_designs @juvee Sometimes I think about my younger self—the kid who just wanted to find her people. She never would’ve believed that one day I’d get to work alongside humans like this, let alone call them my friends.
