Workshop Description
Turn cereal boxes into stunning fabric-covered book covers in this fun and creative workshop! It’s a perfect way to recycle and showcase beautiful fabrics.
Participants will craft unique book covers using fabric, felt, and trim, then assemble the inner pages (signatures) from scrapbook paper. Learn how to incorporate envelopes, create pockets through folding, and add other clever details. Once the covers are dry, we’ll bind the books using a simple three-hole pamphlet stitch.
By the end of the session, you’ll have a beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind handmade book and the skills to create more at home

Knowledge/Equipment Required
- If you can fold paper, poke holes and thread a needle you can do this class. This is the most basic form of bookbinding with a single signature. However, I will discuss and show examples for how people can incorporate this same technique to make more intricate books.
