Sashiko Denim Patch

Workshop Description
This is a beginner workshop where students will learn how to measure and mark their denim patches to create different sashiko designs. We’ll also talk a bit about the history of sashiko and the tools needed to start sashiko mending at home. Students will leave with 1-2 finished patches created from denim remnants that they can take home and sew onto an item of their choice.

- This is 100% a beginner class. No experience necessary. We’re going to go over the fundamentals of Sashiko and do some basic stitches that you can use to do a lot of fun things.
