Overall Jumper Dress (Beginner)
Presenter
Workshop Description
This is a two-part workshop. You must take both parts to complete the project. Reference the full conference schedule for Part 1 and Part 2 session times.
Create a stylish and versatile Overall Jumper Dress using an original Desiree Salas pattern in this intermediate-level workshop. Featuring patch pockets, adjustable straps with grommet or buttonhole closures, and bias-trimmed armholes, this flattering design works year-round—pair it with tanks and sandals in summer or turtlenecks and boots in fall.
Students will work with mid-weight fabrics like denim, linen, cotton, or recycled materials and learn key sewing techniques, including pattern tracing, topstitching, hemming, applying patch pockets, and creating bias trim. With three size patterns available, this project is designed to fit a variety of body types.
By the end of the class, you’ll have a finished jumper dress and new skills to elevate your sewing game!
