In this workshop, attendees will learn how to make wire hoop earrings. At the end of the session, they will have a completed pair of earrings in sterling silver or gold filled to take home.

The hoops will be shaped with wire using needle nose pliers, a jig, and a hammer. There will be several shapes for the attendees to choose from, ranging from square, round, etc. and we will use wire to practice making shapes, then we will switch to sterling silver or gold filled wire to create their final pieces.

You may be surprised how you can turn a piece of wire shaped around a small household object into a unique pair of hoop earrings! Each student will get to choose the size and scale of their earrings. By using gold filled and sterling silver materials, the final product will be high quality, hypo-allergenic, and last for years to come.
