WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Fresh + Unique Ideas
We love traditional crafts, but we’re especially excited by innovative workshops that bring something new and unexpected to our community.
Updates to Repeat Workshops
If you’re submitting a workshop you’ve taught with us before, think about how you can refresh or elevate the experience for returning attendees.
Diverse Workshop Topics
We’re open to all kinds of creative subjects—sewing, paper crafts, fiber arts, dyeing, DIY, and business skills for creatives—just to name a few.
Engaging Teaching Methods
We love hands-on, interactive workshops that spark creativity and keep attendees actively involved.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Complimentary Registration
Full access to 200+ workshops, events, and activities (a $675 value).
Nightly Travel Stipend
Offered based on the number of sessions you teach.* You’re welcome to use it toward lodging—or keep it if you’re staying elsewhere.
Affiliate Program
Earn $35 for each ticket sold through your custom link.
*Compensation is based on hosting/participation in a minimum of 2 sessions (workshops, panels, forums, lectures, events, etc.). Travel stipend is offered to presenters who are confirmed for at least 3 total sessions. Stipend is $200 for 3 workshops and an additional $100 for each additional workshop.

TYPES OF CRAFTCATION WORKSHOPS
Hands-on Workshops
2-hour immersive sessions with step-by-step instruction where attendees leave with a finished project or new skill. Topics range from craft to wellness and may include off-site or group experiences.
Make & Takes
Make & Takes are informal, fun, quick projects—usually under 20 minutes—that anyone can jump into.
Casual Crafts
Casual Crafts are drop-in sessions (under an hour) where attendees try quick, hands-on projects with no registration required.
Panels
Insightful business discussions led by a moderator with a panel of three or more experts chosen by our team.
Think Tanks
Small roundtable sessions (up to 20 people) for feedback and idea-sharing on topics like shop ownership, website critiques, and personal growth.
Lectures
Lead a solo business class on a niche topic—like Photoshop 101, Instagram strategy, goal-setting, email marketing, or selling on Etsy—and share your expertise with fellow creatives.

Fill out your workshop proposal form to let us know what you’d like to teach. You’re welcome to submit multiple proposals—more options mean a better chance of being selected. Most instructors teach 2–3 different workshops at Craftcation.
