We started Craftcation because we wanted creatives like you to have a place where they felt inspired, supported, and seen. Our Ambassador Program is a chance to help make that happen for others while also sharing your love for Craftcation in fun and meaningful ways. As an ambassador, you’ll help us spread the word, welcome new attendees, and keep the good energy going before and during the conference. Whether you’re a seasoned Craftcation veteran or a one-time alum, if you’re passionate about building creative community and Craftcation—this is your opportunity to be part of shaping something truly special.
WHAT ARE THE AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITIES?
What do ambassadors do?
All ambassadors complete a few basic tasks and then choose their own adventure from a list of additional options.
AMBASSADOR DUTIES:
Post 2+ times on your social media, newsletter, or other digital channels
Join our private Ambassador Slack space and engage when it makes sense
Attend one virtual Ambassador meeting
- Be a positive, helpful and welcoming member of the Craftcation community (especially to new attendees)
OTHER OPTIONAL WAYS TO CONTRIBUTE AS AN AMBASSADOR:
Introduce us to creative communities or spaces where future Craftcation attendees might be
Additional social media or newsletter posts to spread the word
Help plan the Meet & Greet, which happens on Wednesday at Craftcation
Pitch us a special project that plays to your strengths (graphics, admin, tours, etc.)
- Distribute Craftcation postcards (we’ll mail them to you!)

If you’re excited about Craftcation and want to help others experience its magic, this is for you. We’re looking for folks who love to connect, share, and support creative communities. You don’t need a massive social media following—just a genuine love for what Craftcation stands for and a desire to help others feel welcome.
We’ll meet on Zoom a few times before the conference to check in, share updates, and brainstorm together:
Welcome meeting – Meet your fellow ambassadors, share your chosen duties or pitch ideas, ask questions, and get inspired
Mid-point check-in – Q&A and updates
Pre-Craftcation pep talk – Final Q&A and get excited together!
Outreach: Spread the word about Craftcation and help bring new attendees into the fold
Welcome & Connect: Help first-timers feel at home and foster a warm, inclusive community
Lookout: Be the eyes and ears of the event—help us stay responsive and tuned in
Expertise: Share your skills to support the Craftcation team and attendees
