Iron Craft is one of the most exciting and beloved events at Craftcation—our fast-paced, high-energy speed crafting competition. Whether you’re in it to win it or just want to cheer from the sidelines, don’t miss this unforgettable night of creativity, chaos, and community.
ARRIVAL INFO – DON’T BE LATE!
If you applied to be a contestant, you must arrive no later than 6:30pm.
We’ll be drawing names from a hat to select participants LIVE at the start of the event.
If your name is called and you’re not there—you forfeit your spot and we’ll draw another name.
Set an alarm, grab a snack, and come early!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT IRON CRAFT
If you’re familiar with Iron Chef, you’re already ahead of the game. In the iconic cooking competition, contestants have access to a pantry full of premium ingredients and tools, but they must create a masterpiece that highlights the episode’s secret ingredient. Inspired by this concept, Craftcation alumni and presenter Holly Marsh put a crafty spin on it to create Iron Craft!
In this thrilling competition, ten contestants (including our reigning champion) have access to an incredible selection of craft supplies and must craft something extraordinary within the time limit. They must highlight the secret ingredient—or in this case… the secret craft supply! Mwaaahahaha!
Ask any Craftcation alumni and they’ll tell you—Iron Craft is NOT to be missed. Whether you’re one of our ten contestants or cheering as an audience member, this event is always an attendee favorite.

IMPORTANT IRON CRAFT PARTICIPANT FAQs
Nothing! All materials and tools will be provided. Just show up on time and ready to create.
Absolutely! Iron Craft is open to all Craftcation attendees. The more audience energy, the better.
We randomly draw names from the list of applicants at the start of the event. You must be present when your name is called to participate.
We’ll move on and draw another name. No exceptions.
Nope—Iron Craft is a solo showdown. But we promise your fellow crafters will be cheering you on!
No worries—just let us know before the event so we can remove your name from the draw.
