Even when everyone there loves crafting as much as you do, the walk into a room full of new people can bring out the shy in the most confident of Craftcationer.

That’s why the Buddy Program was built. We match you with a fellow attendee before you even arrive. Based on craft interests, location, goals, and personality (or you can let chaos pick for you, we don’t judge).

First-timers get paired with an alumni whenever possible, but this isn’t just for new attendees! No matter how many Craftcations you have been to, sign up and make a new connection.

You don’t have to wait for Craftcation to roll aro

You don’t have to wait for Craftcation to roll around to get crafty!

Our team has been getting together, going on field-trips or just outings around town. This was our outing to The Hospital of Emotions, with highlights of some of our favorite rooms. But you don’t have to wait to hang with us in March.

You can organize a hang too, check out our Neighborhood Hangs, quarterly dates (times up to the host) all over the place hosted by a Craftcation attendee and posted about on our website and socials. We gather the RSVP’s so the hosts know what to expect and you get a creative recharge. These quarterly hangs don’t have to require admission or a fancy setting, backyards, cafes or parks are all welcome. Become a host wherever you are, and don’t worry if you are the only Craftcation’er in your county, crafty neighbors who haven’t been to Craftcation are welcome! Host form can be found in our link tree.

It’s not the opening of a very craft based horror

It’s not the opening of a very craft based horror movie, it’s Supporting Hospitality And Real Connection (SHARC) Week! (No we don’t have a thing for sharks, we just really wanted the acronym to work.)

More than the classes, the crafts, or the beach, the magic of Craftcation is in the community and we’re finding new ways for folks to build connections with each other- both in Ventura and at home.

We’re introducing these updates over a week because there is a tidal wave of goodness, but if you add us to your favorites you can be in that front row seat, splash zone style.
