Alicia Dirago
Alicia DiRago is the founder and CEO of Whimseybox, the monthly craft subscription that helps you 'Stop Pinning and Start Making!' In 2009 she quit her chemical engineering career to start spreading the love of DIY and craft inspired by modern fashion and design trends.
Obsessed with making everything from bracelets to homebrewed beer, Alicia has designed and taught DIY projects for audiences ranging from hundreds of people at major tradeshows to intimate classes of just 8, Her work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The Chicago Tribune, CRAFT, Apartment Therapy, Swiss Miss and many other places. She also writes the personal DIY, fashion and design blog dismountcreative.com.
